Our brand new receiver card - Tessera R2 - was launched at the Plasa London show last week. R2 is our next-generation receiver card, with 4x the capacity of our previous generations, in a compact module form factor which is 6x smaller than our RA16 card and at a significantly lower overall cost. R2 also supports Tessera's full industry-leading feature set, making it outstanding value for high quality LED processing.
R2 was very well received by visitors to the stand. Richard Leivers, Technical Product Manager for Tessera commented:
It was great to see the overwhelmingly positive reaction to R2 at the show and the great comments we've received from customers further afield. Our team has worked very hard to squeeze all of the Tessera technology into such a small form factor, at the same time as quadrupling capacity and reducing the cost. We think the new SODIMM module form factor, along with our unique LVDS signalling mode, really represents a step change in receiver card design. We and our partners are very excited about the new possibilities this creates."
